When a new planet was discovered in 2004 it was named Sedna.  There is an Inuit Creation Myth about a father who wanted to be rid of his daughter, Sedna, so he took her out to sea in his kayak and pushed her over the edge.  She struggled to get back into the boat but her father severed her fingers.  She fell to the bottom of the sea, her fingers becoming seals and other marine creatures.  In this piece Sedna is lying, surrounded by underwater flora and fauna.
